I don’t know much about boats. Does 1 level submerged mean you can have 2 levels above water?
Another benefit of lake housing is during winter you have easy ice road access to all kinds of goods and services in the area.

I suspect my stance on kids ruining, well, everything are akin to many CPers' opinions on dogs.

It was in my mailbox. They prob only sent it to the surrounding communities and I live in University Heights.
So if you know anyone who lives in Brentwood, Charleswood, Varsity or University Heights you might be able to get it from them. It came in the mail about 10 days ago.
hmm my brother lives in Varsity Village. I'll ask him if he got one.
Sorry no luck. He gave it to one of his friends last week.

Spend 5 minutes with one and everything you have will either have been destroyed or become inexplicably sticky.

The store is not as nice as the south store but maybe they were rushing for the opening or they had limited floor space as compared to the old Sears location at Southcenter.

Oh there is fine print and there are like 20 items that aren't part of the discount. But Lego isn't one of them. Mostly baby stuff and prob $300-$400 strollers and baby seats.

Calgary pauses applications for office-to-residential conversions due to 'tremendous' demand
https://calgaryherald.com/news/local...mendous-demand
Quote:
Calgary’s office-to-residential conversion program is taking a pause as the city expects to hit its ceiling for available funding, a sign of the initiative’s “tremendous uptake” according to the city.
With 13 projects approved and four under review, the program has reached its $153-million funding threshold, the city said Wednesday.
Should those remaining four projects be approved, the city said it will have replaced 2.3-million square feet of office space with 2,300 new homes, leveraging $567 million of private investment.
|
You love to see it. The program has its challenges (especially technical ones), but adding 2,300 residences in the downtown core is outstanding. Hopefully the demand keeps going strong when funds become available again.
