Right now, it was a bad period. Not even their worst. Pittsburgh anyone? Montreal in Montreal?
Forgive me for not wanting to call it a bad game after one period. Or the beginning of a slump or whatever. They've played bad periods before and come out with good efforts later.

Of topic- But my favourite ex-Flame Michael Ferland has 3 points tonight. I'm just going to keep throwing out there that the Flames should acquire ex-Flames McElhinney and Ferland at the deadline.

Yeah that’s true wouldn’t Toronto get the chance to claim him before they could trade him? I remember sureloss saying something like that about another player this year in a hypothetical trade scenario.
