It's a mental loophole. The court of law and the court of public opinion find you guilty...you find Jesus who forgives your sins absolving you of taking responsibility.

Right? They never seem to find the Old Testament version of God, with all the fire and brimstone punishments and eternal suffering for your sins. It's always that newer gentler version that gets their soul off scot-free that they embrace.
