Not sure if this was posted elsewhere in this forum, but the flames.nhl.com site posted an article on Olson earlier today:

http://flames.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=707362

Seems like he should definitely be on the radar a bit more. Anyways, go Heat!

EDIT: Just saw that you posted it in the General Heat discussion thread, my bad.

Anyone tweeting this tomorrow? Gotta be at the Dome for stuff, so won't get much of a chance to follow this beyond the phone.

No real plans for Twitter, but I will probably be following the game at work and tossing a few updates on here.

Coaches Comment:

- Ward likes the early game after a bad weekend. The team plays well on the early games, has good results.

- After looking at tape, thinks the Heat have done right and even this weekend, but didn't get the right results. Has good periods, did good things, has alot of positive to take from that series.

- Like MacDonald's game. He's come up with good games, but no goal support from the team in front of him. Finds a way to let in a soft goal every game he's played. With his experience, he needs to find a way to win hockey games and make more consistent saves and not let in soft goals.

- Keys for the Texas games: Discipline (shoot themselves in the foot in these games). Cannot put Texas on PP as they will massacre them.

- Would like to play a really low scoring game against Texas this morning. Need to wear teams down mentally at this point in the season. Not mature enough to withstand a high scoring game, so need to keep it close to keep the guys engaged.

- Expects a loud game today. Has earplugs for the guys. Will use his deer hunter training to combat the noise.

Midway through the first and it's only a couple shots on goal for both teams.

Heat just had a good rush, but couldn't get it in.

The kids in the crowd are LOUD! The Heat probably have no clue what's going on as its usually a library in there. I think I saw the wave going too.

Heat have had a few good chances this period, but nothing seems to be going in.
