There is a 40+ Gig day one patch...makes you wonder what these reviewers are playing. Hopefully mostly fixed on launch.
I can't remember which reviewer it was but he said they had pushed a few updates in the time they had the game, pretty crazy to need this much more work.

Those updates could have been in the pipeline for awhile.
Looks like the Avengers game had a huge content upgrade with a free DLC which expands the campaign and adds Kate Bishop (female Hawkeye) as a playable character who kicks off the new story.
I really wanted that game to be good and I didn’t mind the campaign but it got so repetitive and boring quickly. Playing Spider-Man on the PS5 also really made me realize how disappointing that Avengers game was. Sounds like there is going to be some huge expansions over time though with a bunch of new characters added
Yeah been reading about how terrible it's been for people on last gen consoles. That's insane. Hopefully they can fix that asap, those people still paid full price for the game
CDPR should be sued for false advertising for the base PS4 and Xbox One versions, deliberately not allowing any reviewing outfit access to console versions and only allowing them to review the PC version. This is one of the scummiest release strategies I've ever seen

Well now you can see why this game was delayed. I preordered this game for Xbox a few years back from Walmart so it only cost me $54 which is kind of a bargain so I'm not going to complain about its unfinished state. I think I may finish up the games I have going on and start this game in 2021 when hopefully most of the issues are patched.
I played a couple hours last night and was getting 50-70 FPS on PC. It felt pretty smooth to me. Everything is maxed, with Ray Tracing on, new driver installed, and DLSS on (though I had to bump AA down to 8x) at 1440p. I had a couple animation bugs (and one funny bug when a character drove their vehicle through another one at the end of some dialog).
They probably shouldn't have even released it on current gen though with how it looks.

Yeah, I was getting between 45-55 FPS at 1080p on my RX480 at medium settings and I thought it was fine (though I was also overclocking). That said, I'm probably going to wait for the next patch before I play it through as there were definitely a few bugs.
