Yeah true. Though I'm not even worrying about that coulda/woulda/shoulda stuff because at the end of the day, after watching every playoff series this team has been in since 1991, I've never seen such an embarrassing performance by the Flames. Just outskated, outshot, outchanced, and physically manhandled by a wild card team the whole series minus game 1. That was painful to watch, especially given we were a 107 point, 50 win team with home ice in the West.
The way our top line seemed legitimately physically intimidated (outside of Lindholm, who's a better hitter than I thought) out there reminded me of the Hemsky era Oilers against the Regehr era Flames. Humiliating. After watching that display, Flames straight up didn't belong in the second round. I'm still kinda sick about how bad that was.
