I loaded it on my 3XL and it's fine, runs well anyways. Not really seeing too much different on it so far. If you're phone is your main phone I wouldn't bother with this update and wait for some later ones.
They do have an online flashing tool notes which is super simple to use.

I couldnt watch the game from my phone, and noticed many other apps were randomly closing after opening. Turns out, it is just a sign of poor decisions and testing at Google.

Luckily this quick fix came out an hour ago.

Thanks for posting that. Couldn't figure out why my apps wouldn't open.

My work phone was due for replacement (LG G7) and my boss gave me the OK to expense the new OnePlus 9 Pro, just got the shipping notification. Quite stoked to play around with it, it'll be my first real flagship phone in many years

Pony up and buy their proprietary wireless charging dock. Game changer.

I love my oneplus 8 so much!
I'm sure you will love the 9
In other oneplus news, the watch looks really interesting.

Watch? I must've missed something. Something to Google this morning!
I have a OP7 Pro. It's great, but the popup camera is instantly insanely annoying. Have had thoughts about going back to Apple (their Carplay setup in the next vehicle I'm purchasing -- Subaru Outback -- is light years ahead of Android Auto).

LG officially exits the mobile business. Bad thing to lose an competitor as we're limited to Samsung, Google, and Apple devices now on Canadian carriers with the occasional Sony and Oneplus device if you do some hacks.
Wish LG had fixed their mobile device quality problems.

Oneplus 8 Pro down to $950 with another $150 off voucher making it $800 so I pulled the trigger. My Oneplus 6 is still working great but the battery is declining pretty quickly now. Looking forward to Android 11 and 120 Hz display.

I have had the 8 for a little over a year now, and love it. For $800 you will love the Pro, hard to find anything comparable at that price.

What are the best phones right now that don't have the curved screen on the side edges?
Overall, I'm loving my Note 20 Ultra 5G, but I am not loving how many times a day I accidentally touch the edge of my screen and completely screw up whatever it was I was trying to do.

I have the Samsung S20 FE edition.
Flat no curves.
Don't get it. Buggy as hell. Worst phone I have had in over a decade.

Download Edge Touch from the Samsung store. It'll fix that problem.
Hopefully Samsung is done with curved screens. They're so annoying.

Thinking about getting either the Pixel 4a or 5. I had the first generation Pixel as my first Android phone when I dumped Apple and I absolutely loved it. Switched to Samsung S9+ and I think I prefer the Pixel as an overall phone. Anyone have the 4a or 5? Thoughts?

I have a Pixel 4a. I love it. It's simple, quick and has a great camera. My wife uses my phone camera more than her own cell phone. FWIW, my phone previous to this was the Nexus 6P, which I also loved. Its battery started to die faster towards the end.

I have a Pixel 5. Great phone, I can get a days use out of the battery easily but I don't game on it or use it heavily. Camera is great as expected for a Pixel. I love the 6 inch display, makes the phone not too big but a good size display. I have the sage green. I use wireless charging so the Pixel 5 over the 4A was an easy choice for me. No complaints at all, it doesn't have a 120hz refresh but I find the 90 is plenty.

I suppose if this makes the phone less wobbly on a table it's a good thing, but why not just make the phone thicker and give it better internals in the process?

4a5g user here. I like it especially at the price point. I think you can buy this one new for $650. There is no wireless charging in this version but I knew that and chose the bugger screen rather than wireless charging. No complaints from me and I like the stock Google vs skinned Samsung or LG etc.
