I think Tool is a really good band and are talented musicians. I can't say I was ever a huge fan, but a lot of my friends were back in the day. To this day, still one of the best, if not the best, live show I have ever been to. The band was tight and the singer really engaged with the audience. The moshing was really intense though to the point of being a little too much.

The singer actually stopped during a song and lectured some guys in the crowd for being too rough. He told them to hop in the monster trucks and go home. I can't remember everything he said, but I recall that he really layed it in to them.

I find the music a little bleak and foreboding, so I really need to be in the mood for it. They definitely aren't an every day or even every month listen for me, but when I am in the mood, I enjoy it.

Schism is a really good example of their talent, although I will admit that I don't know their whole catalogue.

Tool is maybe the only band I've ever seen where they actually sounded even better in their live performance than on the album. I don't listen to them often, but they're an incredible band. They have their own artistic thing and they do it so, so well.

They're so, so good live. Will be buying a ticket to the Calgary show. Pneuma, Stinkfist, Lateralus and Ticks and Leeches are my faves.

Although, I was at Coachella in '06 when they headlined, and they played some songs from 10,000 Days for the first time, and it was terrible AF lol.

Don't have a bangers list prepared, but I really love the 3 song sequence from Lateralus to Disposition to Reflection (from the album Lateralus). I love the whole album but that part just pulls me in on another level.

I also think many of the songs from Fear Inoculum stand up with the best work they've ever done.

Hopefully the next one doesn't take that many years.

This is from a while ago, but I still absolutely love this cover by these kids. They totally nail it, especially the drummer. 27M views!

Wonder if any of them ended up moving onto bigger/better things and hopefully found success.

From their new album my favourite song is Descending. They are an experience, that's for sure.

Just bought tickets for the show in October in Vancouver. Pretty excited, but man the good seats were expensive. $450 each for okay floor seats. Many seats reserved for "platinum", which were also $450.

Tool has just over 50 songs. You could literally rank them all?

I don't know anything about playing drums, but hoy crap that looks crazy. I don't know how those guys can play so many songs, I couldn't even remember enough of it for one haha.

Super excited though, I got my tickets for the upcoming show and they're one of the last bands on my list that I really want to see live - even my son is stoked to come as well.

Tool is 75% of the reason I'm driving 5000 km to Power Trip in October.

I just bought a ticket to the Oct show at the Dome!

My first time ever seeing them. I'm literally going by myself though. I found a single aisle seat at the top of the lower bowl in the middle of the stage. I could have bought an aisle seat in the middle of the stage row 5 on the floor for $20 more, but I didn't want to risk not being able to see around anyone lol.

I'm pretty stoked!
