My beef is that it shouldn't - there was absolutely no obstruction there, just a horizontal stick. It had zero impact on the Dallas player. I would rather they call penalties on activities that actually impact the play.

God that trade for Lucic looks bad. Lucic is absolutely useless and can’t do anything out there. Having him and that contract for the next four years is just a massive mistake.

Agree on slashes. But that isn't what Bennett did. He didn't slash anything, he simply got his stick horizontal.

Pretty good start from both teams. Dallas is picking it up now, so the Flames need to counter.
I like the 3rd line other than the weak Bennett penalty. Making chaos in the o-zone, but nothing to show for it yet.
