Usually don't bother watching OT. They didn't play so bad, and Sutter's choice of 3-3 lines wasn't nutso neither. Take the point and move on.

Huberdeau has been really ineffective. It's crazy how bad this guy looks. No look behind the back, bs passes for days, little fight, casual in his own zone far too often. This is probably his worst season in some time. Only up from here right? That guy isn't a 10 million dollar player.

Kadri, looked so disinterested. He has very little impact at any place in the game. Weak face offs, little zone time, no cycle ability, poor play making. What a dud.

There's 17 million in duds.

At least weegar made a couple nice plays.

This season has been an abusive and manipulative partner that we can't quit or break free from.

Sallyforth to mediocrity

Changes are a comin!! But seriously, I don’t think in all the Flames seasons there has ever been a team as unlucky as this one.

The horses ain’t getting it done in OT. Not a lot of coaching to it, you play man to man and hope like hell your big players make a play. Haven’t seen it a lot this year.

12 games left to get about 20 points. Just not happening. But we all knew this. Now, it's about the silly part where we finish as high as possible without actually making the playoffs.

Markstrom hasn't got it done all season, and here is another game where he could have been the difference maker and he wasn't.

6 goals on 26 shots. 2 goals off weak rebounds (and one giveaway) on the first 5 shots.

He just sucks.

We had her in the bag had a few unlucky bounces but should have finished that one. Need better goaltending.

Four out with 12 to go.

Two weeks ago, we were 7 out.

Still have the game in WPG.

Yes it obviously sucks to lose all these overtime games and tonight is no exception. but the point is very big.

Both things can be true.

This thing ain’t over.

Umm, we're way past the point of taking a point and moving on. Have you looked at the standings and how many games are remained?

Nice play by Robertson. It is imperative to have a player who can be a difference maker. As Bieksa just said, “an elite player making an elite play”. Unfortunately the Flames don’t have such. When Toffoli is your leading point getter, the team is not a threat.

I know Kadri, is more of a role player, but it would be nice if he and Huberdeau did something more than take up cap space.

Such a disappointment tonight to lose the extra point, as it is needed.

12 games remaining, 4 points back with 1 game to play against WPG and 1 to play against NSH.

If the Flames have any hope they need to run the divisional games remaining like Champs. It's all fodder from here on out. Well except the Kings. Then it's all fodder.

Edit: but we've seen how the Flames play against the fodder teams. Can't bank on or expect anything. Just a fools hope.

They had lots of games like this last year where they battled back. The issue is no game breaker or star player to get the win in OT. Over and and over no game breaker.

This is crazy. Markstrom was hung out to dry.

Needed a save from Markstrom on that tying goal. It was a good chance, just needed a big moment save and didn’t get it. The stars had 4 shots in the third.

Dallas had three forwards out and won in OT. There are things coaches can do, Sutter just doesn't do them.
