I've got the point where I am watching the boxscores rather than the games, but getting that first win in Vegas is important even without considering the playoff push.
Hopefully they have a great game.

Is there a trophy for most OTLs?

We can get banners on the cheap from the Oilers!
Just going to have this game run in the background on the PVR. If they score I'll rewind it.
If they get shut out I dont have to watch the game at all! It's really good on your mental health!

Yeah I stopped watching live awhile ago.. If they have a good game I'll go back and watch it.. Very little hope in the flames doing anything right these days..

I just don't want this to turn into another Disneyland curse for the Flames. Beat these chumps in Vegas tonight please. It's beautiful weather over there, Markstrom has been playing much better as of late, lots still to play for.. There's no excuse for a flat performance tonight, GFG

Just remember:
No wins.
ABAW.
Anything but a win.
Just lose.
This is not a good team, maximize the draft position - give your scouts and drafting department whatever advantage drafting 13th or 14th gives you rather than 15th.

We have never won in Vegas and I do not think that trend is changing tonight

Here is how I would shake up the lines
Huberdeau-Lindholm-Toffoli
Mangiapane-Kadri-Dube
Pelletier-Backlund-Coleman
Ritchie-Ruzicka-Duehr
Let the 4th line vets sit for a game, reunite the top 6 from the 5-1 start, and let Backlund help Pelletier as he seems to have hit a bit of a wall

Would be nice to see Huberdeau with Lindholm. They had our best 2 chances in 15 seconds last game. Surely Sutter can see that!

Almost a guaranteed win tonight, right?
Play down to the bad team, play up to the good?
Flames fans: "please, just lose; there's really nothing to gain from winning"
The Flames: "#### you, I won't do what you tell me"

How about?
Huberdeau-Looch-Toffoli
Mangiapane-Looch-Dube
Pelletier-Looch-Coleman
Ritchie-Looch-Duehr
and then on d
Looch-Hanifin
Andersson-Looch
Zadarov-Looch
Because you know Sutter has to use every single minute to get his moneys worth out of Looch before he retires. Finishes the game with 72 mins TOI

I like it! Anyway we can put Looch in net as well somehow?

Cheering for loses seems just as pointless as cheering for wins since we probably have less of a chance at a top 3 pick than we do with making the playoffs.

Im scared we will see no shake up of lines aside from Lucic slotting up for Pelletier. Please prove me wrong Sutter.

I'm less optimistic as I was before the last game(which was still on the "probably miss" side) but I'm not on the "Every remaining game is meaningless" bandwagon. It just means that because they choked against Anaheim they have to win one of the games we thought they would most likely lose and they have to atleast get to OT in another to make up for the last game.
I'm skipping tonight's game though. It seems like when they do suck me back in they end up reminding me why I stopped watching in the first place.
