Markstrom played great. I think they played a pretty decent game. There is just no star power to will this team over the line.

The flames have a very low chance of making the playoffs and a large shot at dropping into the bottom 10 teams in the NHL for a chance at some other Connor kid.

Big 4 point game coming up against the Senators. While I am pretty confident the Sens will finish higher, that is an important game, as is the game against the Preds.
After this year, Sutter will have the lowest percentage in terms of making the playoffs out of the last 4 Head Coaches (lower than Gulutzan, Peters and Ward).

Tough game to lose. Markstrom seems to have been finding his form lately, too late unfortunately. If he’d have played like this all year long we’d be first in the division. Not our head, hope Tre makes some shrewd moves now for the deadline.
