Rats, I wanted Ray to stay in this game. So we can give him a bit more medicine.

Hopefully Springer isn’t done. Was it the same hand that took the fastball yesterday?

That's a panic move pulling Ray there.

Now we can eat into their bullpen…time to feast.

Makes it easier for tomorrow.

I think so. It had a wrapping on it.

I know Servais kind of had to start Ray, but I was saying to friends even before this game that I would have given Gilbert the start today. Felt like this result with Ray was completely predictable.

Nah the Jays starting hitting the ball hard even before last inning. His slider lost movement and it was just hanging in the zone. He looked tired...ramped up like the Jays yesterday and had a good first two innings but over extended himself IMO.

How so? The game is still within reach and he's been awful.

Disagree. If they win with Ray, they have Gilbert for game 1. If they lose, they have Gilbert for game 3.

If they play Gilbert and lose, they have Ray for game 3.

Same situation as the Jays faced with Gausman. After losing game 1, they played him. Had they won, they probably start Stripling
