Default office 365 question

I use office 365 for my personal email and calender.

I have it on my desktop and my phone. I get my emails ok on both emails and phone, however my calender, is updated on my desktop, but I can't get it to show on my outlook on my android.

Any ideas?

Are you using the Outlook app on your phone? Or the native apps for email and calendar?

I can't remember, does the outlook app have toggle to turn on which things sync - in the settings?

There was no sync setting. So after playing with it, I decided screw it. I downloaded Calendar sync, which runs in the background and syncs all of my calenders.

I have the option to turn on and off what calendars I see in calendar portion of the app. I have 3or 4 of the dozen or so I’m linked to. Plus whatever other account I add like gmail or iCloud. Do the calendars show up on the list but the entries just don’t update or you don’t even see the calendars to select?

With my Android phones, the calendar automatically shows Outlook events when I used the phone's built-in email app for my Office 365 email.

That's fine, but when I use my destop 365 app it doesn't update to my phone calender. I'm using a nifty little outlook calender sync program and it updates now to my google and my outlook on android calenders.

Is the desktop 365 app different than the windows outlook application?

I won't be much help, my problem is almost the opposite. My calendar events are showing multiple times on my phone and it drives me nuts. I get 3-4 reminders for every event.

I'm using 'regular' Outlook, not the 365 app. But we are on 365 at work.
