90% of politics is posturing. No matter what deal is annonced today Jeromy Farkas will rude in last minute saying he has a true plan that's better then council made. The discussion was a couple pages back, too lazy to dig them out but the most annoying thing about a new arena will be the terrible bland corporate name. Yes the Saddledome has name sponsorship but it's still the Saddledome.
New building isn't going to have a new with the corporate name in front, it's going to be some terribly bland "Place/Arena/Center" etc etc.
Olympic Saddledome, Canadian Airlines, Pengrowth, Scotiabank. the Dome was the Dome.
