It's all good, it's not like I'm the only one you rip on around here.
When you've been around as long as I have, it's easy to shrug it off.
Nah, not in it for the money, it's just a hobby and something I actually enjoying doing.
I don't mind selling the odd panorama print here and there, however If I were to get paid regularly for my services, it would probably lead to disliking photography.
Which has happened to a few pro photographers I know.
The real money resides in wedding / portrait photography and that's one avenue I would never want to venture.
Landscapes, buildings and skylines don't talk back and don't cause stress.
Plus in this day and age, every kid who gets an entry level DSLR kit thinks they can shoot a wedding and they undercut the actual professionals, then you hear of these horror stories about their special day ruined by the "wedding photographer" who only charged them $700 instead of using a professional and paying 3-8 times more (depending on package).

Whilst I have started dabbling in portrait/event (as an amateur, of course), amen to the bolded.

Celebrated Square Root Day

Regulator75, once the South Hospital is done I found a cool place in Parkland to take a picture of it from a distance. It's a on a large hill and with good zoom would look really cool because you'd be able to capture the rows and rows of houses in the SE and then just this monstrous hospital towering over the cookie cutter masses.

Hmm, I'll try. Problem is I was just kind of driving through and didn't catch the street name. I'll give it a go right now.
