Default UK December election GT

I don't see a thread about this election specifically just Brexit, and it's probably the most important election the UK has had in ages.

Results should be coming in soon

Saw a pic of Corbyn wearing what looked like a 4H livestock ribbon today at the polling station. Is he going for best in show?

It'll be interesting to see how this goes. I'm also interested to see if there will be another referendum. I have to think that with the lack of Brexit success, many people who previously voted for it might change their minds with the level of investment in it and lack of results.

It will be interesting to see if it acts as a precursor to a leftward swing in the US and Europe like Brexit served as a precursor to it's rightward version.

First results should show up around 3pm Calgary time. So, uh, save your F5 key for then.

Aren't the polls predicting an overwhelming Conservative majority? The politics in continental Europe are still shifting right by all accounts, too.

I don't know how anyone could vote for Corbyn in good conscience given his pretty clear ties to anti-Semitism.

I haven't been watching polling at all. I just assumed that sentiment against Brexit was translating to votes for the house.

So they should vote for a racist buffoon in Boris, who wants to rush through a no deal brexit and destroy the UK economy?

“If Hitler invaded Hell I would make at least a favourable reference to the Devil in the House of Commons.”

Anti-semitism is the worst of all things.

It's tricky, the left has some weird ass anti-Semites (Corbyn, a handful of Labour MPs, Keith Ellison in the US), and the right has them too, but the existence of Christian Zionists always makes it feel like the right tolerates Jews more internally (other than your Steve King's for example which are just literal white nationalists) for their "purpose" in the machinery of Revelations.

Both parties are split on Brexit - the Labour heartland of the working-class North is pro-Brexit, and Corbyn himself is an old-school anti-globalist leftist.

The fact that any Brit could be anti-globalist is baffling. You are 500 years late to the party.

Did you read the labour platform? That's something designed to destroy the UK economy.

A hung parliament would be a disastrous outcome.

Hoping that the polls are right that are predicting a huge Conservative majority and everyone can get on with it.

A lying, elitist chicken as PM for the next five years.

Saw it coming when I saw all the coffin dodgers at the polling station.

Listening to BBC Radio 4. They're already projecting possibly one of the worst Labour defeats since the 30s.

Labour getting what they deserve for sticking with Corbyn.

This is the crux of it all.

Anyone, and I mean anyone else would have wiped the floor with the elitist lying scumbag we are saddled with for the next five years.

Especially one that gives the 4000 year old earth, no gay blood donors, DUP a say in proceedings.
