With daily headlines getting more and more absurd and humanity becoming increasingly fragile I think it would be interesting to have a thread where we post articles that would have been considered satire not that long ago.

I'll start:

They are actually going to send the kids home from school early here in New Brunswick on the day of the eclipse. when i got the email from school my reaction was really?

My guess is lawsuit avoidance. If little Johnny stares at the sun and goes blind at school it would be the teacher’s fault.
