DeSmith has won his last two games against the Oilers too so if even if he can come back I like their chances.

Oilers are 8 for 15 on the PP

Kings are oh-fer

That is the difference in the series, no more, no less. 5 on 5 the series has been very even.

The Oilers got their heads caved in 5 on 5 in the last game, and this is against a pretty sub-par Kings team that probably shouldn't have even made the playoffs. This is why I'm confident that the Grease won't make it far in this post season.

The McPP is definitely keeping them afloat and will likely get them into round 2, but after that it gets much tougher for them when they face deeper, more talented teams like the 'Nucks/Avs/Stars/Knights.

I am in the same place, odds change daily...obviously what I said a week ago is different. Did you have a different opinion of the Stars chances 3 days ago? Because I sure as hell did.

#### some of you are so wrapped up in personal vendettas against posters, like you calling me out in a thread I hadn't even posted in about the Panthers. IF you want to crown the Oilers go for it, the series has been even. Oilers stole game 4, most if not all advance websites would agree with me. If they don't steal game 4 its 2-2.

Obviously at 3-1 the odds shift, duh

I know I am hoping the Kings bring the same effort and probably win Game 5, put some pressure on those losers. Rittich looks better than Talbot did IMO.
Please bring it out for game 2.

I haven't posted on CP since these threads were created before game 1 but I see you post this over and over. Based on "deserved to win" the series would be 3-1 Oilers still.

Game 1: 7-4 Oilers. It was 6-2 with 3 minutes left and the Kings got a couple of late goals. Shots 44-37 Oilers. Deserve to win o'meter: 64.1 percent for the Oilers. Oilers deserved to win.

Game 2: 5-4 Kings in OT. LA won this game because Skinner was bad in game 2 and had his off game so far of the series. The 3rd and 4th goals were awful. LA was outplayed. Shots 31-26 Oilers. Deserve to win o'meter: 66.2 percent for the Oilers. Oilers deserved to win.

Game 3: 6-1 Oilers. Game wasn't close at all. It was 4-1 after 2 when the Kings had 3 powerplays to the Oilers 2 at that point. In the 3rd period the Oilers got some 5 on 3's so people were pointing that out when the game was already done. Shots 40-28 Oilers. Deserve to win o'meter: 95 percent for the Oilers. Oilers deserved to win.

Game 4: 1-0 Oilers. The Kings absolutely outplayed the Oilers in this game. Oilers were lucky to win it. Shots 33-13 Kings. Kings deserved to win this game. Deserve to win o'meter: 76.7 percent for the Kings. Kings deserved to win.

So in this series, it is 3-1 and based on "deserved" it's the same. You keep saying game 2 when that was a game the Oilers "deserved". Basically the team that lost game 2 and game 4 should have won so it would still be 3-1. Games 1 and 3 were not close.

A goalie playing bad is part of the equation and not an excuse...he is part of the team after all.

Oilers are lucky its not 2-2. Game 4 was the most lopsided game of the series and the Kings somehow lost it. It doesn't really matter in the end but lets call a spade a spade.

Talbot wasn't good in game 2 either. He made two good saves at the end of the 2nd period but both Holloway goals were horrible.

Yeah I think game 2 was a toss up at best, don't think the Oilers deserved a better fate than they got that game.

Series should be 2-2, it's 3-1 but that's hockey.

I don’t put much stock in the regular season the first 3 games were within the first 6 weeks of the season when the Oilers were playing like arse. Credit to the Canucks, but that was a horrible Oilers team.

Last game was without McDavid and a one goal game and an empty netter.

Plus the jets beat the Aves every game this regular season. How’s that working out for them?

I know what happens in the regular season doesn't matter in the playoffs. I still like their chances if DeSmith comes back.

You don't need amazing goaltending to beat the Oilers. You just need one that can keep you in the game and not give up bad goals at key times. That's one of the biggest things that's killed the Kings the last three series against them.

Take away their PP, PK, the lucky goaltending from game 4, and McLotto, and this team would already be gone.

Just a reminder that this guy is an Oilers fan pretending to be a Flames fan.

Why do you keep repeating this over and over? I don’t see it.

Cause they said they’d rather have Huberdeau over McDavid?

Yeah, call me a homer but I have high expectations/hopeful for Hubby and this guy won't get off my case for it.

This place needs a little more optimism.

Look at his post history. He 100% is an Oilers fan and I'm not the only one to call him out on it. It's very obvious.

There’s nothing in there that’s obvious or even suggestive that they’re not a Flames fan so I’d say you don’t have a case unless you actually present it.

C’mon kings. You will lose this series but keep it going another game and hit the oilers only three players to hurt every chance you get. Make McBitch, pissy and garbage man hymen need a lot of ice packs.

Look at the pan to the crowd. Looks like the extras casting from Deliverance.
