Hopefully they're able to capture the charm of the original.
No, he's said on podcasts that it was spousal support. He got divorced when he was on News Radio and then his career kinda tanked and the court wouldn't adjust how much he owed. I don't know how it was cleared up though.

Scott Weiland had the same problem to an absurd degree. Stone Temple Pilots split up for a lot of years, he was doing very little in terms of earning, but nothing was adjusted so he owed $66000 a month in child support.
He was literally pulling in half that on a good month in his later years, and that was with relentless touring.
My wife and I got baked last night and were navigating through the IMDB app, when we came across Renegade. A mostly shirtless, long haired Lorenzo Lamas rocking a duster and Harley while chasing down fugitives. The stories and acting are D level at best - LL is especially bad, especially his Kung Fu scenes
‘He was a cop and good at his job,
But he committed the ultimate sin
And testified against other cops gone bad,
Cops that tried to kill him , but got the woman he loved instead
Framed for murder, now he prowls the badlands
An outlaw hunting outlaws, a bounty hunter, a RENEGADE’

Finished season 2 of Warrior, damn it's an awesome show. Episode 9 is one of the best hours of any TV show I've ever watched, and it is a great homage to Bruce Lee. If you have any interest in kung fu shows, period dramas, or Chinese gang wars then you need to check it out
Just finished the two seasons on Crave. Wanted to come in here to post this exact same thing. Very underrated show. I wish they utilize Chao more since I appreciated his role as Job on Banshee.
Starting on Mare of Easttown now based on reviews here.

Which begs the question ... Quein es mas machos?
Ricardo Montalban o Lorenzo Lamas?

Finished season 1 of Yellowstone. It looks fantastic but all in all, it wasn’t that great. Really kind of stilted storytelling even though some of the characters are interesting.
I’ve heard it gets better.

I saw a lot of good stuff being posted online about Hacks, so I decided to watch it last week. It is very good. It's only a 10 (half hour) episode season and the final 2 episodes air on Thursday on Crave.

Anyone else watching Mosquito Coast? I thought the first two episodes were fantastic, but kinda went downhill as the season progressed. Still pretty good though. Great production values, well acted, but the story is letting the rest down. I don't mind that they departed significantly from the source material, but it kinda feels like it doesn't know what it wants to be. Needs to get back to an ominous slow-burn.
Biggest annoyance:
Spoiler!
Drawing out whatever the secret family history is, just leaking out little predictable teasers. The parents are about to tell the kids... but oh no, just as they start to speak there's a knock at the door! Just get that out of the way and move on. The last episode big revelation that it was actually the mom who did whatever caused them to be on the run (but what?!) is something both my wife and I guessed in the first episode. Which would be fine if they weren't making such a big deal of it.
