A white or whit beer like the style of Hoegarden is flavoured with coriander, cumin and orange peel.

A similar style of beer is a hefeweizen and that's the type that I preferred.

The only way to know for sure what you like is to try them.

I feel like a bit of a goof when I go out sometimes if I'm the only one with a girlie drink, even though I am a girl.
White beers are typically made with wheat (as opposed to barley) so that gives it a bit of a different taste. A lot of them also are made with various spices, which changes the taste even further.

Hoegaarden is the most popular white beer and a good place to start. Of the widely available beers, I find Leffe to be one of the better spiced ones. It's made with orange peel and coriander I believe it is.

Karlovacko is actually available at a few stores here in Calgary. We usually get it for functions or I buy it when I have people over. If you're looking to go out and have some, I know Bootleggers offers it.

Belgian style of weissbeir, wheat/white (have the same meaning in German) beers tends to have a spicy taste to it. Examples would be Hoegaarden or Rickards White. I prefer the taste of the German style which has a hint of sweetness. Examples of that would be Wild Rose Velvet Fog, Paulaner (can buy in bottles), Erdinger (can buy in bottles), Franziskaner (never seen it)

The other thing you could do is create a bit of a radler or shandy. Typically you combine beer and lemonade. Just don't put too much lemonade in or it's too sweet. I've also heard of beer and gingerale being good, but I've never tried it.

Something that the ladies might enjoy

Strongbow (taste like alcoholic apple cider) + a shot of Ribena (black currant concentrate) = The Black and Blue at English pubs

It's sweet and not as bitter as regular beer. It's something I like to drink to finish off the night

You're a tough gal to please

How about...... Well, it's not a beer, but, it is a favourite of mine when i want something other than a beer. And anyone who says it's a girlie drink gets a visit from Guido

Another option is adding lime cordial. You don't need to add a lot of it and it doesn't really add much sweetness.

No mention of it here but pretty much any of the house brews at Brewsters are fantastic.

I especially like the Espresso porter they had as a seasonal beer.
but the Heff, dark ale, and raspberry are always some of my favorites.

Check my first post.
Try a beer called Fruli,
It's starwberry and it's delicious, so perfect for a girl who doesn't like beer. Of course it can never be drank in public by a dude.
