Apparently you can pay $299 to have a cardboard cutout of your face in the stadium. The Dodgers sold 4500 them. That will make a little dent in that Betts contract.

They need to make those cutouts flinch when ball are fouled straight back.

Yeah. Totally agree. Thing about arod is he’s a pretty face and apparently thinks about baseball all the time. So I’m sure the powers that be said he checks off a couple boxes. Now that he’s been dating j-lo he’s become more irritating because he has pr people working with him to get in the media and project a wholesome image. He still comes across as a dolt now it’s just amplified when he’s on social media every week.

I actually liked it. Better than empty seats.
I think they should green screen behind the plate and play different crowds onto it. They could have fun with it. Put each team's home crowds, dogs/cats, whatever. Would be fun. maybe.

Wonder if the players can hear that piped in crowd noise or if it's just for tv?

Yes. It's from the stadium.

CB Bucknor already in midseason form umping the Cubs/Brewers game. Two awful pitch calls and not even through an inning. Mind bottling that guy still has a job.

The fake crowd noise people didn't know what to do. Should they cheer? Do we have a sarcastic cheer?

Braves lineup is SCARY good.... have some good options on the bench too. If they can find a solid 3-5 in the starting rotation I think they have a shot this year.

Interesting that there were no sweeps on the weekend. The last undefeated team were the Padres who lost yesterday afternoon.
