When I saw Klanny post about the great mountains of Edmonton, my first thought was this concept I had kicking around. Listening to fans rejection of the Cowboy theme, I've been looking to integrate the mountains into a Flames motif for a while. The 2014 alternate lives a new life in better colours as the first Flames reference to our nearby amazing scenery
What do we think of these for a Flames 3rd?

Interesting, nice work! I think the Avs have already tried the "mountains" motif (think 2020 Stadium series), but combining it with the Houston Astros "tequila sunrise" gradient definitely gives it a more retro feel.
The white and dark definitely have potential as one-off designs
