I checked the poll just to make sure Iggy was rightfully leading by a mile, then I voted for Willi Plett for the same reasons you put forth for Fleury.

Not a protest vote, and Calder winner Willi Plett probably doesn't belong in the top 4, but as a little kid watching in the Corral, Willis Plett smashing players into the boards, getting in fights, and flying helmetless up and down the ice with his blonde hair

It was magnificent

And he scored a few goals too

Never underestimate recency bias. I think it will be between McDonald, Mullen, and Lindholm for 2 spots. Hard to ignore Mullen's 16 goals in the '89 run, and Lanny's got a great mustache (among other endearing qualities).

If Gilmore counts, Jagr should count too.

Jagr's tenure as a Flame was awesome for the fanboy in all of us, but his accomplishments in our silks doesn't hold a candle to any of these guys

Funny story, I picked up a new jersey customization yesterday.

Thanks to North Star Jerseys for doing a great job.

Anyway, this is Jarome.

Count for what? Gilmour was a Flame for 3 and a half seasons and a point per game player during the Stanley Cup run (including scoring the Cup winning goal).

Jagr played 22 games with the Flames.

This is going to be fun after Iginla.

Lanny had the 66 goal season, but after his third year he did start to fade a fair bit, and only ever topped 33 goals that one time. Still he's a franchise icon who still is a big part of the community.

Fleury known almost as much for his off ice troubles, but still rates pretty high in terms of goals, games played, and points as a Flame. 3 times with 40 or more goals and would have had 7 straight 30 goal seasons if not for a 48 game lockout in which he still piled up 29. The on ice production is hard to dispute.

Mullen only had 4 seasons plus 29 games as a Flame but has 3 seasons over 40, the highest ever point total by a RW, and a "lousy" floor of 36 goals. The team made the cup 2 times with him around. His time here was short, but damn was it productive.

Loob, again not a long tenure, but productive as a Flame. He did have a couple of lower production years which Fleury or Mullen didn't really have. Chose to leave the NHL early with plenty left in the tank. But like those above has a 50 goal season, and his 106 points in 88 is the second highest total for Calgary RW.

I always knew the Flames had great RWs, but seeing them all in one list is crazy.

Some seriously good players there.

Easy choice for Iggy. I'm thinking the next two are Fleury then MacDonald followed by a difficult choice between Loob and Mullen.

Oh yeah Nilsson got so robbed on the regency bias. I fully expect in 30 years CP will leave Gaudreau off the all time team for similar reasons of "didn't play to his potential", "wasn't a playoff performer", or "the team was better without him".

Pretty much.

Nilsson not making that 3 or 4 spot... wtf.

My prized passion from age 9 until 18 (year i got a dirt bike), my Theo Fleury autographed puck and card set.

'89 Flames were so deep in right wing (and on right side D) - I really wish we had this in the past 2 decades. This is what's actually missing for so long!
