The mouse was pretty messed up and the cat was ####ing with it, letting it run away a bit then pouncing in it and batting it around. Rinse and repeat. Huh. I've been to France several times, Paris 3 times and I've never had this issue.

I've been to London a couple times, but my first experience with the London Transit system was both amazing and terrifying.

I just happened to be in London when they decided to ban drinking Alcohol on Transit.

Which...I was chatting with the locals in the Pub by my Hostel and I tried to explain Public Transit in Calgary or Canada as a whole, and I remember this because it feels hilariously ironic now.

At the time in England you could pop into the shop, buy a can of beer and start drinking while waiting for your Bus or Train. No problem.

I explained to them, at the time, if I cracked a can of beer on the C-Train? An entire department of Security would tackle me to death. The Bus? The driver would kick me off instantly.

In England? No problem.

As to the irony...look where our Transit system is now? A guy cracking a beer on the C-Train now? He's the least of your problems! You gotta watch that crackhead with a pipe and an axe!

Anyways, I met up with a bunch of locals and we did an informal 'London Pub Crawl' where we took every form of Public Transportation while getting just proper sloshed. It was a mess.
