Every sickness is a battle that builds up her immune system. What doesn’t kill them makes them stronger. There will be a brief respite before kindergarten/play school then look out! She will bring home adult sized germs.

People who take an elevator one floor.
Not people with their hands full carrying things, or in a wheelchair, or pushing a stroller, just lazy, able-bodied people who consistently take an elevator one floor rather than taking the stairs in a fraction of the time it takes to wait for the elevator.

Not always possible to access the floor via stairs. Elevator might be the only option. I've been there and was surprised by locked access points.

Annoyingly, that's how it is with the major tenant in our building - no stairs besides the fire escape. It's incredibly annoying, I feel like I lose a couple hours a month in that elevator as a result.

I'm talking about those situations where the stairs are clearly 10 feet away and accessible.

I think the only legit reason for being annoyed at that is just because you’re selfish and somebody got off of the elevator before your stop and slowed you down for that short period of time. It would make no difference to the OP if someone got on the elevator at the 20th floor and took is to the 3rd floor, than if they got in the elevator on the 4th at the same time as the OP.

I have no idea what you're trying to say at the end of your post.
Going from the 20th floor to the 3rd floor is much different than taking the elevator one floor.

The point is that it’s the same to you. Literally anyone getting off a floor after you get on is like only going one floor from your POV. Why else would it bother you then?

Taking an elevator 17 floors is common sense compared to 1 floor from both a time perspective and physical aspect (getting sweaty etc)
Taking an elevator 1 floor makes no objective sense to anyone that isnt a sloth.

Yeah, you have to check and you can find them sometimes. The doctor gave me a blood test requisition today and I booked an appointment for June 1st at Market Mall but I knew I'd keep checking randomly throughout the day. At around 4:30 I checked again and got one at Ranchlands for tomorrow at 10:10. I've also found in the past before it was Dynalife I would check very early in the morning if I woke up and sometimes spots would open up. People cancel and then you can snag the opening, I figure it's still the same. It is pretty ridiculous though, like trying to get tickets to to a hot concert or something. Maybe Broncos guy can hook us up with a "resale" medical test.

I am just not sure why something that affects you the same way in either case is a problem.
And the issue with stairwell doors being locked has already been stated. That is a valid reason for not willy-nilly entering the stairwell and trying to hoof it to the next floor to save you from having to endure an extra stop on the elevator.

I live in a 20+ story building with 2 elevators, occasionally one of the elevators is down for an extended period of time. This can mean during peak times it can be a 5+ minute wait to catch a ride as the elevator might be full the first go around. It astounds me how many people are completely willing to wait to travel that one floor when there is a fully unlocked stairwell approximately 15 feet away.
I used to live on the second floor of a building and I can count the number of times i took the elevator in 5+ years on one hand, even though this elevator defaulted to waiting on the ground floor with the door open.
You do you, but i'll be judging. Not that you're lazy but that you're stupid.

This is a gear grinder I can't get behind.
Maybe don't judge. Unless you see them on a regular basis, you have no idea if they're able bodied or not.
Same with parking spots. I've seen people with a tag yelled at because they don't "look" disabled.
for myself, I sometimes do take the elevator just one floor, and the only reason is that I'm being lazy and don't feel like walking to the stairwell and taking the stairs. There are probably very few people on this forum who always take the stairs if they are just going a floor or two.

Yeah, you got a tag you are cool.
But then of course you got the #######s who get fake tags (and are also probably the same #######s that fake their pet raptor as a guide/support animal).

As long as we can all agree that disabled parking spots should never be used by the able bodied unless all other spots are taken.

Unless I see the person dragging their body into the shops using only their arms, I assume they're cheating the system and smash all their car windows.
