Stupid feces eating mother####ing squirrel ####er this morning comes up behind me(cycling) as I come to a stop sign, I leave room on the right and stop in the centre of the lane, going straight through. He pulls up to the right(I assume he's turning, becuase that's what the space is for), and we wait for traffic to clear. I go, and this piece of #### steps on it, cutting around me and in front, becuase he couldn't wait 10 goddamn seconds for me to clear the intersection and move over a bit. But ya, it's the cyclists who are a problem.
I hope one day he gets stuck behind a charity ride for 3 hours, missing his daughter's flute recital and causing her to give up and resent her dad forever, shattering their relationship so he dies lonely and rejected.

I just got a phone call from Mrs Puppet, saying there's been a pedestrian hit at the intersection in front of my house. And from the sound of it there's a possible fatality. This a matter of minutes before my kids cross the same street to get to school. And while the situation is being dealt with there's at least one other near-collision with pedestrians.
since I moved into my house I've lost count of the times I've seen and heard collisions involving pedestrians at this corner; I've even had to do first aid after a collision and nearly been hit myself multiple times. And it's always the same thing: some ####ing IDIOT is so much more important than everyone else and has to hurry on a left turn and ignores the pedestrians crossing right in his path. Guess what people - that millisecond delay in turning is going to be a LOT longer and a LOT worse when you run over a kid because you have to get to work faster! Use your damn brain, swallow your damn ego and SLOW THE #### DOWN! I really don't think that poor guy you put in the hospital or the morgue shared your sense of urgency.

I was unsuccessful in one of my job applications because they received more than 200 qualified applicants for 42 openings and didn't want to interview too many people. If you are going to do that just close the job posting once you get 200 qualified applicants. For all I know my application was 201.
Sigh.

I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with this. My nearest intersection is the same thing.
As a driver we are trained to look for cars first, then pedestrians. Cars and their drivers are the worst thing about our roads, everything else is secondary. The vehicles are to big, drivers go to fast and people generally have the me first attitude.
Cars suck

That sucks, however I am sure they don’t know that they have n-number of qualified candidates until after all the applications have come in and been screened.

I have to admit we have some men in our office that have some serious issues. I still don't understand how you can get #### splatter up the seat and on the tank but it's happened here a few times.

That's funny, just this morning I was say to my wife that I missed having an office to go into if I wanted.
That has passed.

I know it’s a basic human need and all, but work washrooms are ####ing gross. Why have we allowed several hundred filthy animals who are crammed together for 8 hours a day to share a handful of toilets. Gotta time my ####s so I don’t get parked beside someone losing their bowels and filling the room with floating #### particles. It’s ####ing gross.

you probably inhale #### particles, skin particles, saliva particles and decomposing body/carcass particles daily, no matter how well you time your ####s
sorry to break it to you

Yeah, but nobody wants to huff poo particles in real time straight from the faucet.

Those neon green "slow down" child / turtle fishing things are useful in such intersections.
But why is it that they always show up in the most unnecessary locations instead? It's a two way street with barely enough room to have 3.25 car width, and 2.25 of those car widths are taken up by vehicles parked on the side. That sign is pointless.
Same thing with traffic control measures in the inner city. Lay that #### all over the place around schools rather than quiet residential roads with boomers angry that anyone would ever want to drive faster than 40 kmph on any road ever.

Masks are great for hands free filtration of poo and pee particulates in the air. People give me weird looks when I stop to put one on before a public bathroom.
No I'm not afraid of covid in bathrooms. I'm huffing literally less #### when I put one on before entering the bathroom.

I'm sure those signs would be great if not for the people actually putting them out. I see few on the boulevard where they're supposed to be, but so many of them get placed on the actual roadway. Keep your trash off the road.
One in particular was placed in front of the laneway I turn into to get to my garage. I kept moving it back to the grassy sidewalk area out of the way until I guess someone stole it or they just stopped putting it out. I haven't seen it in a while.

Had this conversation today with my 5-year old on our walk to school
"Daddy, are some other daddies lazy?"
"Why do you ask that?"
"Because some houses have a lot of ice in front that they don't shovel and it's really slippery"
"Yes honey, some daddies (and mommies) are very lazy. Don't be like them"
