Just underperforming. Giving him a look from the press box. He'll probably be back in against NYR

It's one thing to beat a good team once, but to win both these games would be a big statement IMO that the Flames are for real.

Looking forward to: Bennett scoring, Neal scoring, and another strong game from Valimaki.

Go Flames Go!

I think tonight will finally be Derek Ryan's first multi-point game with the Flames. Just a hunch.

When we win tonight, hopefully TSN will give us some love and throw us on those ridiculous "Power Rankings" they have

I remember in 1989 it was early in the season and we blew a team out of the water. Jiri Hrdina got 2 goals or 2 points. We were so deep he was shuffled out of the lineup next game as it was his turn on the rotation.

I remember laughing with my step dad about 2 points not being good enough to stay in the lineup.

I find it strange that Czarnik is sitting over Hathaway. I definitely thought Czarnik played a much better game than Hathaway against Boston. Also I think our speed gave Nashville fits last game so taking out one of our fastest guys is a bit strange to me......but in Peters we trust, his scratches seem to be working so far so let's see what happens.

Yeah not surprising that he would be the next guy to sit in the press box for a game. Haven't been impressed with his game lately. If Jankowski doesn't play well tonight he will be there for the next game.

Czarnik's goal shouldn't be to just outplay Hathaway. He's more talented than that, and this is likely the message.

They've played their best games against the stronger teams in the league. I expect that to continue tonight.

Thanked solely for the rare and proper use of "champing at the bit".
I commend you.

#Flames trickling onto the ice at the Saddledome. Rasmus Andersson just stepped on the ice and he got a haircut. Looks faster.

Not the Jagr Flow!!! Now he is going to play terribly.

I will donate $20 to CP for every goal that EITHER Sam Bennett or Mark Jankowski score tonight.
