Moving to Edmonton
It pains me greatly, but my wife landed a cherry job in Edmonton. She couldn't find work in Calgary for the past 4 months, so off we go.
It will be so painful to be in greaser country, but I will proudly show the Flames jersey on game days.

Well Edmonton is decent in the summer so you will survive. I would suggest you purchase at least a decade's worth of sweat pants before you leave Calgary. Prices are much much higher in Edmonton due to the overwhelming demand.

I think there is a big Boxing Day sale on sweat pants that say "juicy" on the backside at Wallmart. You better get down there and buy about 40 pairs as that is standard dress in deadmonton.

I actually don't mind Edmonton though. It'd be my second choice in Alberta after Calgary, pretty easily. Congrats to your wife on the job

I hear they give free mullet hair cuts to new residents of Edmonton.

I grew up there, so I know what to expect. She does not, and I feel sorry for her. Looking forward to the lakes though.
Moving sucks so bad.
The sweat pants thing is so true, sadly I do not own one pair. Guess I am not in style there.
