Oilers have a new top line winger. HelloMoto to the top line tonight. Did The Tenderness have something happen? Or is Rattie already being demoted?

My fantasy league informs me that Rattie is injured and will be out a couple of weeks.
What scrub will draw into the lineup when career AHLer Ty Rattie is out??

Hold the phone!
Had the misfortune to listen to 630Ched and Bob Stauffer advises that Bouchard looks great and is a keeper. Another young player onto the scrap heap!
Also noted that broissoit turned in a vezina quality performance and stopped 42 shots in his second win for the jets.

Any word on if they'll ever actually play their $2.5 million backup?
Their next 4 games are against Pittsburgh, Washington, Nashville, and Chicago. I can't imagine them not going with Talbot for all of those.
It's funny that they cut Brossoit loose so they could throw $2.5 million at a goalie from the KHL. Then, Brossoit signs a league-minimum contract with the Jets and now has 2 wins before the new guy has played a single minute.

They need to keep Bouchard on the team because they have literally noone else to take that spot. They have to choose between Benning and Garrison to fill out the d for 7 minutes a game at this point. Sending Bouchard to juniors would deplete them further, and they already play Klefbom for 30 minutes each game. It makes total sense that Stauffer has been instructed to pump Bouchards tires.

The way McLellan is managing ice time for his players is a mystery. For instance Khaira played a little over 8.5 minutes total last night, and almost half of that was special teams time, 2 min PP, 2 min PK. So he's basically terrible and not trusted to play at all 5-on-5, but apparently he's supposed to be able to contribute in crunch time situations. Khaira, really?

Who knows what Titanic-deck-chair-shuffling is going on in his head. I would assume he’s doing something this puzzling to give McDingle a rest in the matchup chasing game, but who really knows.

That city would turn itself inside out. One could only hope that Edmonton becomes the franchise that traded away both Gretzky and McBranchDavidian.

All I can get

Drove to Edmonton for business on weekend. Step out of the car at the hotel, and there's a freaking Proud Boy in his Fred Perry polo (black/gold stripes) walking by. I kid you not. I hate Edmonton Proud Boys.
