Recommend Video Games!

The TV show recommendation thread was really helpful, and with this time off I'd like to get into another quality game.

I have historically liked RPGs the best, especially the ones where you're directly controlling combat (Zelda!!). I loved Dragon Age. I think I'll pick up Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion next.

I personally have an xbox 360. What are some must plays for the 360? What about other platforms?

What do you recommend?

If you have a PC diablo and diablo 2 are classics that are still great and will play on even low end machines.

As far as xbox goes I enjoyed oblivion but found it somewhat repetitive. mass effect 1 and 2 are always good choices as well.

Fallout 3 is an awesome game, but some don't like the combat system. Because it's been out for a while it is definitely worth grabbing the game of the year edition for cheap. Then, if you like the combat system, check out Fallout: New Vegas.

i'm guessing since you're a Dragon Age fan that you've played Mass Effect, but 1 and 2 are the two best RPG/shooter hybrids ever made
