I would love to see a Brett Hart biopic but I imagine the WWE doesn't want to portray themselves as the bad guys and how they screwed over their biggest star so I will just have to stick with my Wrestling with Shadows DVD which is excellent.
The world is long overdue for a Hart Family/Stampede Wrestling documentary series.

We watched the acclaimed Marriage Story on Netflix. I found it depressing due to the subject content. 5/10

Agreed that this was a pretty depressing movie. Not sure why you would title a film "Marriage Story" and have it entirely focus on a couple's divorce. I was also disappointed that the film revolved around a couple that was in show business. I think it would have been so much more interesting if it was about a middle American family that weren't the cliched Hollywood couple. The ending also bothered me:

Spoiler!

Jumanji 2 was lots of fun, enjoyed it just as much as the first. Beautiful shots of the Banff valley in there, instantly recognizable!

I have been curious about this film as it will no doubt be a big player at Oscar time. But maybe wait until after the holidays as it just sounds like a bummer.

I am about 25 minutes into 6 Underground (Netflix) and it's...not good. It's like Michael Bay unknowingly made a parody film of Michael Bay movies.

Ferguson was a cut above, made even better by sticking to a simple, laid back style in an American entertainment world that pressures you to take things to a higher (often fake) level.

There was something so excellent and skilled about a non-American dominating a late night spot while literally making fun of the lack of adequate lighting and crappy studio, while going on to get way more out of guests than the other late night guys.

Really miss Craig Fergusen.

The Two Popes was phenomenal. Great performances by Pryce and Hopkins. I can’t help but think some will feel it whitewashes the church, even glorifies it.

Rarely do I describe a movie that’s mostly two old religious dudes talking for two hours as engrossing but it really was.

Watched Knives Out last night and really enjoyed it! It's a fun romp with some good twists and great acting. Worth the $$ to see it. 8/10

Knives out seems like something that I would like to see, but TWISTS! SUBVERSION! MASS HYSTERIA!

Late Night on Prime.

I quite liked it. Mindy Kaling is funny and she wrote it too. Emma Thompson is hilarious and wickedly mean. For my money she’s the greatest living actress. Meryl is overrated.

Enjoyed the Upside. Not as good as the original but had heart. Some structural issues, especially with the conflict and resolution. I was surprised to see the reviews were so poor. Kevin Hart was charming and not over the top. Cranston was good as usual.

Yes, but what about the cultural appropriation of disabled people? Could they not have cast someone who is actually disabled for the character in a wheelchair?

Seriously though, I loved that movie. I'm not a huge fan of Kevin Hart because hes usually just very high-energy but I thought the chemistry (see what I did there?) between him and Cranston was fantastic.

Overall very enjoyable.

Hidden Life is worth a watch. A little long, but I really liked the message. Nice locations in the Dolomites, one of the most scenic mountain ranges IMO.

This movie traumatized me as a little kid but it was worth it. Great flick.
