The Last Duel was a great movie. Long, but found it entertaining from start to finish.

Watched The Rescue, which is a documentary about the 2018 cave rescue of the 13 boys in the flooded cave in Thailand. Easily one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. Knew the story of the rescue going in. But all the little details and personal stories...wow. Unreal story.

TLD was great. I don't know why because the story is not anything particularly special. But that collection of actors and the way it was executed made it highly immersive.

Really want to see that second one..

This was fantastic. Watched it with my wife the other day and it was great.

Wad that the cave rescue where Elon Musk jumped in with all sorts of tech or something? Or was that the trapped miners?

Just finished The Defiant Ones on Netflix. A look at the careers of Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine and all the people they worked with/lived around. Absolutely fascinating. Highly recommend. 4 Part mini-series.

Fake Famous is one of the most frightening and depressing horror movies I’ve ever seen.

Except it’s a documentary about social media and influencers. It’s horrifying.

Rewatched The Social Network after many years.

Appreciated it much more this time around I must say. It's really well paced, well acted and I love the main theme score.

Can't believe that was 12 years ago..... Facebook was still pretty fresh then.

I like that the movie didn't paint Zuckerberg as a wholesome, good guy genius, but instead a flawed guy with unhealthy obsessions who could be resentful over petty things.

Of course they give his character some last minute redemption & arguably unearned sympathy with that "you're not an a##hole Mark, you're just trying so hard to be" line from Rashida Jones. I might be touched if she was giving the pep talk to literally any other person involved. I mean... he was trying, and he succeeded through much of the film, over a period of months and years. So doesn't that just... make you an a-hole?

I suppose with how excited Zuckerberg allegedly was about the film being made, they didn't want to completely blindside him with the treatment of his portrayal. Although I'm sure he wasn't thrilled lol.

They take three wannabe influencers and try to make them famous using bots. I thought it was decent enough. Not super in depth or anything. But the picture it paints of insta influencers is, as expected, horrifying.

There wasn't a single mention of Musk in The Rescue. 9/10

Watched Belfast last night. Fairly enjoyable, even if it didn't make much sense aesthetically. Jangly, obnoxious musical cues in the form of American pop music and really... did it need to be in black and white? Especially with the gimmicky insertions of color here and there. That opening titles sequence was just kind of a... Strange way to set up the rest of the movie. The best scenes were of the little boy with his grandparents... Ciarin Hinds and Judi Dench were terrific.

The Rescue was incredible; also #### Elon Musk. Basically ruined that divers life with that dumb ass accusation and the diver lost the defamation case against Elon.

So much has happened since then I dont really remember that.

But losing defamation cases to Musk could be why he wasnt mentioned at all in the film.
