Maybe it’s just me but I notice a considerable amount of difference in the gun play from the beta. Less bullet spongy enemies, melee kills people as do grenades. I could however be dreaming as I have been playing nothing but battlefield 1 for weeks.
Any Xbone users picking this up? Would love to get a CP'ers team going.
Yessir.
"L Ghostrider I" if you want to add me. We've got a crew of about 6-10 people, mostly from Calgary, that are going to be playing.

They made a ton of changes from the beta, gun damage, ability damage, recharge rates, as well as power heavy drop rates. Game feels like a refined destiny experience. So far I'm having a great time with it.
Also the beta was a 2 month old build and was more for Bungie to test servers. And to hear concerns, and make adjustments. As they did.
People taking it as a demo, and indicative of the final game is like jumping out of a boat because someone spilt a glass of water.
I'm only playing on PS4 until PC release. After a nice grind session yesterday I was able to hit 20 and get my light to 229 almost ready for nightfall.
I didn't play much of the first Destiny, but seeing that Destiny 2 currently has an 88 on Metacritic, is this a good time to pick up for newcomers?
Peoples problem with destiny is that its not a whole game meaning that the story will play out over a few expansions. The campaign can be completed in probably 12-14 hours or less on this release but Destiny isn't just about the story its the package deal of Strikes(Dungeons) and raids, PVP, loot crawling, and the satisfaction of the gun play and how smooth it is and being customizable.
Right now the number one concern people have is Shaders which you use to color armor, guns, etc used to be you found one and you kept it to use again but now they are consumable. Its a minor thing and in time you will have so many different shaders you won't know what to do anyway.
If you like to shoot things and collect loot you can't go wrong.

Also, that new competitive PVP match type is awesome.
Team deathmatch with 12 lives per team is amazing, and some of the most intense PVP I've played in a long, long time. Halo MLG days included.
