That's it. That's the list.

Yay to Vladar and Ruzicka. Young players showing they can step up and play vital roles. Hope they’re receptive to others doing the same.

I’ve been a huge fan of Markstrom’s since he got here, and frankly I think he’s taken a bit more of the blame than he probably deserves this year, but at this point Vladar is clearly the better goalie. The Flames are in a position where they can’t really afford to let Markstrom work through his issues.

Ride Vladar. Time to win 4 or 5 in a row here and get back in contention. I think they can do it.

Is it ever more evident that SN hates the Flames and or just loves the Canucks? Flames game in main national slot yet After Hours goes to the Canucks game along with all the post game coverage.

EDIT- they start talking Flames (barely) cause Bear not ready. Nice.

Put Markstrom in, and we are probably trailing when Keumper leaves the game, and suddenly those rush chances leading to goals 3,4 do not happen due to the opponent going into a 1-3-1
Yes, Vladar played a really good game. He played like a quality NHL goalie. Markstrom hasn’t been playing that way. Every good team needs good goaltending.

I think there is something to the theory that the team is playing better in front of Vladar due to confidence in him. They seem to try to shield Markstrom because he’s been so fragile throughout the season. They seem to be more willing to push the puck and take a risk knowing that Vladdy is back there - that can lead to situations where he’ll need to make a highlight save if things don’t work out.

Backlund was awesome tonight.

Huberdeau with his worst game this year and if his line finished a few passes ends with 2 assists.

No doubt about it but this is Vladars team now.

Nope, you failed to get the message. You see, the only goals the Flames were ever going to score on Kuemper were the ones they actually did score. The only way they could add to their score was by having the Capitals switch goalies.

And of course the Flames would have been trailing with Markstrom in net, because he is totally useless and gives up all the goals. It is known.

5-2 win and still complaining about Markstrom and Sutter in the PGT

Flames were dominant in every statistical category tonight...but apparently it's sad their goalie has to play well

CP is something else

Need to make sure three of those guys dress and play a lot every night , especially Lucic.

Except not actually bad because intangibles and that’s good even if not actually measurable in any way except old hockey guy talk.
You do realize it was a Lucic hit that took Fehervary out of the game right? I'm not saying you want him to take someone out of the game, but there's a value to playing a hard heavy game. it takes its toll on opposing players. There's a reason teams aren't made up of a bunch of skilled 5'7" players.

Yes I do! I want him to take McPissy out of the game.

We saw with Lucic amazing effort on the 2-1 that the stat doesn't mean much when you shoot it square into the logo.

Lucic hit him hard in the playoffs...but then got a penalty because Kane came to get some and got some

What has that got to do with Huberdeau's ice time?

"Lucic is good because he breaks arms" is a take.
