Didn't Bennett go 18/18 ?

Bold: Dougie gets season ending injury during a daring photobomb attempt.

Bolder: Calgarypuck posters manage to somehow regularly misspell Mike Smith.

Boldest: Johnny Gaudreau fights Frederick Gaudreau. Kicks his ass, costs him second Lady Byng. Quoted as saying "worth it".

Don Cherry finally declares his love for Ron MacLean. A national holiday is declared as the whole country watches their wedding ceremony live on CBC.

Leafs win the Cup.

Lack takes over the starting position, not due to injuries.

Brouwer is not the season's biggest CP U whipping boy.

Gaudreau is in or near top 5 in points.

One of Foo, Janko and whichever rookie get the #6 spot (Kylington or Andersson IMO) will be in consideration for the Calder.

A core player is dealt before the end of the year (Bennett)

Brouwer becomes the top line RW which allows Johnny and Monahan to each be in the top 15 for points.

The toilets in the new Edmonton arena back up simultaneously, causing a literal poop storm, but its nothing compared to the poop storm in Edmonton's corporate headquarters when Mr 9 million dollars fresh off of his contract signing sores 12 goals and 25 assists. When asked about his down season he states "I don't care what your saying" Then he uses the old magic trick of pulling a dollar out of the reporters ear and keeps it.

Connor McDavid leads the leagues in goals and assists and also unsportsman like conduct penalties for diving as the referees are no longer under a league mandate to "Give the kid a pass", instead they follow the memo sent out by the head official titleed "I'm tired of this shyte"

Meanwhile in Vancouver, Benning trades for Ovechkin, well the rights to Oleg Ovechkin a cattle farmer from Tblinsk who played for the Tractors 30 years ago.

The Sedins decide to retire in mid season and retreat to their wine farm in california where they spend their days frolicking together in an enormous vat of grapes.

A sex scandal errupts in the offices of Rexall place as Darryl Katz starts casting for his new movie "Its all about me" He casts Bono to play him, then gives Bono the old "If you want to get ahead in Hollywood speech" while staring at the black leather couch in his office. At the end of the night "Bono asks when the filming starts" to which Katz asks "What now".

The Oilers are moved to Ireleand and renamed the Bono Bono's.

The Good:

- Monahan scores 35 goals and gets in his first fight.
- Gaudreau puts up 90 points.
- Jankowski puts up 40 points.
- Kulak has a breakout season and is being talked about as a top 4 guy.

The Bad:

- Bennett loses the 3C spot to Janko and is subsequently traded. We as a fan base are underwhelmed by the return.
- Tkachuk puts up < 40 points and appears to regress slightly.
