Default LF: Recommenation to host a "Hot Ones" style Wing Night

Hey,

If any of you are familiar with First We Feast - Hot Ones, where the host interviews celebreties while eating increasingly hotter chicken wings, I am looking to do the same.

I want to get some buddies together at a pub that has a good range of sauces that do get up to ridiculous spiciness levels.

Can anyone recommend a place, preferably central in the city, that would have ~5 or 6 varieties of hot wings (up to insane hot)?

Thanks!

You might be better off just getting the sauces. Each person brings 1 sauce of different levels.

The unicorn used to have what your looking for though. Their hottest is god damn hot (and I eat a ton of hot food) but I haven't been there in a couple years.

Doesn't Buffalo Wild Wings have this:

Based on reviews the "Blazin" is pretty unbearable.

You mean like hosting it as an event? That would work but I am trying for simplicity and me not cleaning up industrial strength hot sauce from my home!

If you end up choosing Buffalo Wild Wings, PM me. Good buddy of mine is a manager there, might be able to 'spice' up your event.

I'll show myself out.

There are a bunch of YouTube videos of people trying the Blazin Buffalo Wings Challenge, which entails eating 12 of the Blazin wings in 6 minutes.

The sauce is rated at 300,000 Scoville units:

So basically like eating straight Habaneros.

It is pretty hot. I did it in just over four minutes and my mouth was burning for a good couple hours.

kunkstyle, if you knew that I had already gone through this insanity (damaging my insides), do you think it would have turned you away from buying my chair??

This is pretty funny!

To be clear, I am looking to eat wings that progressively get hotter, up to that 300,00 scoville one. I'm not looking to strip my stomach lining by eating ~6 max spiced wings in a row!

I have a bottle of Blairs 3am and 3 of us tried putting it on a wing. Easily one of the stupidest things I and I'm sure my friends have ever done..... I actually had chapped lips for 3 days after. I use it in chilli and it is spectacular and actually has a great taste, to bad no one can actually enjoy it.

I enjoy hot wings so I'm interested in the suggestions from this thread.

Unicorn still has their super-hot wings (level 1, 2, 3, and 4) which they will serve you on wing night. However, practically speaking there's no real progression in spicyness, because eating one level 1 wing will more or less end your night. I suffered my way through three last summer and regretted it for about 24 hours.
