It might be a speed record (which is amazing), but I'm pretty sure Star Citizen will hold the Most Money Gained Through Crowdfunding record for a long time (currently at 76 million).

Damn, a couple more days in the trunk could have done Farva some good.

The Broken Lizard guys must feel like they're carved out of solid gold right now, or recovering from getting black out drunk last night.

Why get someone to finance it for you and then take a good large chunk of the revenues/profits, when you can pay Indiegogo a small percent and then fund it yourselves and keep all the profits?

Veronica Mars got $2 million on Kickstarter in less than 12 hours (it ended up over $5.7 million in the end).

Sweet! We'll get a sequel no matter what. Now 30 days to see how good it will be ...

I wish I had the $2,500 for the entry into the CHI Beerfest option. That would be a blast. I have a few friends who'd kill to join me in that little adventure.

I do have to admit that giving out prizes and awards and such was a pretty brilliant move.

I'm looking forward to this movie.
