I think he also won the Seaman Memorial Trophy as WHL Scholastic Player of the Year. He maintained an overall average of 98.8 percent for his high school years.

Even better: He took the CHL Scholastic Award that year as well!

Looks like Matt Murray was the last one.

All this kid does is dominate at every level. Boy would it ever be great if he can translate to the NHL as there's a generation or two of Flames fans that have never got to cheer on a goaltender that was developed by the organization.

Logan Thompson won it last year as a rookie. Niklas Svedberg also won it as a rookie in 2013, so Wolf is the 4th rookie to win it in the last decade.

Thompson and Svedberg were both 23 when they won it and had some lower-level pro experience prior to their AHL rookie years.

It looks like Wolf and Murray are the only goalies to win it in their 20 year-old seasons since a string in the early 90s where it was won by a 20 year-old in 3 of 4 years -- Jim Carey, Corey Hirsch, and Felix Potvin.

At 21 years of age, there's still plenty of time for the organization to botch his development and destroy his confidence. Right?
