You assume they'll even need a draw, as if you can trust Arsenal to beat Everton.

Newcastle have a midfielder to build around in Guimeres though, he absolutely bossed the game

I gotta say...for a Spurs fan they couldnt have picked a better season to focus on Arsenal.

They were never good enough to do any real damage in the league, but to go through the whole 'Fumble for 4th' and get to a point where they became the first team that actually held their destiny in their own hands aaaaand.....then fumbled it away right to Spurs.

Nobody wanted that 4th spot.

As a Liverpool fan there is lots to be disappointed about, City, obviously, and Everton not getting relegated.

But at least you can look at United and say: "Spurs and Arsenal were at least in the conversation to the end."

It’s amazing. Some were suggesting that they should’ve played the game when it was scheduled because the loss on Thursday broke them. I’m not sure, but at this point we need a draw against Norwich to clinch 4th. I can’t say I’d bet a lot that they win against Everton though? It’s just so awesome.

Everton is probably safe…but they might really need that win on Sunday, and they might not just roll over.

I was actually surprised how much piss and vinegar Newcastle had in them. They really have nothing to play for and they were out there playing like it was a cup final. Kudos to Howe for having them ready like that.

if Everton stay up, then it's just because other teams ####ed up even worse. But man, do they deserve Championship football ...

I don't know if this will go anywehere (probably not), but here's another fun wrinkle to the relegation battle:

I don’t know if it is terrific or tragic how happy you are about finishing 4th.

Of course I'm happy about it though. I have no doubt that if you guys had beaten us and were playing the CL next season that we'd hear all about it. Maybe not from you, but we all know that the childish "St. Totteringhams Day" posts would be all over the place.

I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch though. We have a big game against an already relegated Norwich...what could possibly be more Spursy than this?

Lol! Go get 'em Leeds and Burnley!

How hilarious would it be if City stumble and Liverpool win EPL and CL and Everton get relegated on a Financial Fair Play technicality?

We could call it 'The Quintuple!'

The Fifth 'Award' would be your rival being relegated.
