I'm also in a few leagues that send players to Main series. We have 4 different PS Home game clubs going all week. Not the same but we get on chat and it's a blast.

I play with some friends and we played over video through Covid, which was fun and entertaining, but not great poker. It was mostly so that we could hang out a little bit and have a few laughs. We're pretty casual and aren't playing for huge stakes or anything.

I'd be down for a CP poker night though and I actually talked to a CPer about that months ago, but forgot to post anything about it!

We’ve had CP poker nights in the past, can’t remember who used to set them up. I’d be down to join a game or two if I’m not working.

IFF and SportJunky were big time players I recall.

That's pretty cool. I'd be all for setting up an online CP game (maybe one day to become in person games)... PokerStars has the homegame club feature, so if there's enough interest I could start something up.

I'm not sure what this means. I used to play a fair bit but I don't recall attending a CP game?

Yeah some buddies and I set that up. Bit of a pain, seems like you need a Windows laptop, apple, mobile, etc doesn't seem to work.

I'd be interested, though I seem to play a lot looser with digital chips...

The Cheating Scandal That Ripped the Poker World Apart

Mike Postle was on an epic winning streak at a California casino. Veronica Brill thought he had to be playing dirty. Let the chips fall where they may.

I mean.. the headline is basically click bait fake news. They didn't even prove any cheating. That was a long story for basically no pay off.

He was obviously cheating, but I guess looking at your crotch and playing in god mode for long periods of time is not enough proof.

He could only play in God Mode at the Sacramento casino. How did he do it? How did get the info on the hole cards? I think there was an insider.

There are a few videos which highly suggest that he is a cheater. This one shows that he knew his cards weren't scanning for the teleprompt, but that is something that he shouldn't have known.

There's another that has an even more damning event that I saw about a year ago, but I can't find it right now. I'm comfortable saying that Mike Postle is cheating. Almost all of the professional players that watch him play have a bad feeling about him, right off the bat there's something off.

I guess I'm surprised players can look at devices in their laps at all.

Joey Ingram did a deep, deep dive into the Postle thing. Just look it up on YouTube. Also, the thread in 2+2 was quite epic. He was clearly cheating, and the evidence is beyond a reasonable doubt if you understand poker, but not sufficient to convict him. The civil suit against the casino was dismissed.

I watched a few of those vids by Ingram, he was pretty fired up. I'm surprised one of the players didn't say anything earlier to him about continually looking down at his crotch and playing big hands with cards like 5/4 offsuit. It looked really sketchy a long time before anyone came out and said something.

How are players allowed to have phones with them? Couldn't they be running GTO apps?

I’ll have to watch the video but can you please clarify the bolded? It seems contradictory as if the evidence is beyond a reasonable doubt that should be enough to convict. Or are you saying he should have been convicted but the judge/jury didn’t have enough understanding of poker to remove this doubt?
