Well that theory makes no sense since all commercial and research balloons have to have transponders, of which none of these three objects has any (none of them responded). They were all also within proximity to sensitive DoD locations. Both of these factors contributed to them being shot down.
Should wait for confirmation (or at least an alibi).
You should call the White House and share this information with them. Clearly they don’t have any commercial or research balloon experts on staff and are in desperate need of one.

This was the information that was shared with Rep. Jeff Jackson and others in a congressional briefing with Gen. VanHerck, the Commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). Jackson has shared a review of this information publicly (and in an unclassified status this afternoon).
But flying unresponsive objects close to sensitive facilities doesn't sound like the actions of normal corporations, organizations or academia. There's probably severe penalties for doing things like that.
And the US firing $400k missiles is not a low fidelity response to such corporate chicanery.
Could be nefarious groups as much as nefarious nations.

You can buy a 'research balloon' off amazon for less than a hundred, anyone that wants to eff with NORAD can launch away to their hearts delight
Hmmmm, how does a balloon the size of a car stay aloft at 40k feet?
I'll wait.
Aliens, obviously. Couldn’t be a kind of balloon human-designed to reach the stratosphere to do scientific testing over the course of days, weeks, or even months. That’s definitely not something you should Google. They don’t WANT you to know the TRUTH.
I BELIEVE.
