I love Calgary as much as the next person but this city isn't worth $25,000 a month in rent.

I've seen better rentals advertised for much less money. If I was relocating and a company offered this unit to me as a paid option I'd accept it but only for a short period of time while I explored other rental options.

What's the catch? I'd not pay $5k for that place.
It's nice, but not that nice.

If I had that kind of money, I'd be somewhere else.

Hell no. Not even if that included a housekeeper/butler/cook/multiple staff. Gawd, it's ugly. It looks like a waiting room, a hotel room and a corporate meeting room got together and had a baby and this is the result.

It's $400 a night to stay in a 500 sq ft 1 bed hotel room beneath this unit. Maybe it's not such a bad deal. I'm sure it was snapped up by any number of corporate clients during more booming times. Probably the first time the poor owner has ever seen a vacant minute. Someone really should rent this.

Everyone has their own taste but IMO, at this price the kitchen is a bit of a let down in terms of layout.

I'd rent out those decks to my friends and let them set up tents

Love the building and been to a few units in there before. However, 25k per month for a minimum 1 year lease for 2800 sq ft/2 bedrooms/2.5 baths is absolutely insane.

The hot tub on the MB balcony was about the only thing I liked.

^agreed. The views are worth a couple thousand but the furnishing and unit itself certainly don't equate to 25K

Is this just a case of a property manager wanting to claim they have the most executive and expensive rentals in Calgary?

Don't you have to put up with the Shaw's being your neighbors? No thanks.
