The only the team the Flames don't match up they play in the first round.

I predicted Ducks in 5. I can't believe that might turn out to an optimistic prediction.

I still want to see a picture of that high stick goal. I know that they choked and don't deserve the win after what just happened in the third. But had the refs and Toronto got that call right we're having a different conversation right now.

Elliott let us down with the 2 soft goal early in game 2, and he let us down tonight big time. He was looking for excuses on every goal tonight, hate seeing that in a goaltender.

Also, even if he did get the winner, sticking Perry in front of a camera at the end of the game just shows how out of touch SNET is with knowing who their audience is.

Elliot is the reason we are in the Playoffs. If we don't bring him back then who do we bring back? That 3rd goal killed the team. This is just ridiculous and the wishy washy fans we have here make it worse.

Well, it's not impossible to come back and win 4 and regardless of how it's done, we'd have to win 4 anyways so let's start with the next one!

Say what you will about Elliott, how many goals were deflected? Goal 3 was high stocked from the rafters. Can't blame him for those.

I'm frustrated but I don't think Elliott is the reason.

He wasn't great, he fought the puck but he didn't single handedly lose the game.

Game 2: Two bad goals by Elliott. Flames lose 3-2.
Game 3: Four bad goals by Elliott. Flames lose 5-4.

This was the worst playoff performancce since 1996. In 30 years. Think about that.

Elliott cost us this series by being the worst goalie out of all 16 playoff teams

As I said in the locked thread, somebody post the Flames record since some arbitrary date and proclaim the Gulutzen has the Flames playing great hockey, and that winning 4 straight is totally doable.

Flames were up 4-1 and lost 5-4.

Hint: it's not the refs.

They should play Kurt Angle's theme before the next game and the entire Dome should chant you suck at the Flames. The clowns do not deserve any better. Props to Monahan, though. Only one that showed up out of our big so called stars.

Silver lining to take away from this game. Flames were extremely disciplined tonight.

Otherwise there's not much to complain about. Tough break, but you move on to game 4. 2 and 3 were completely winnable, let's see them at least get a couple wins and break the curse in Anaheim!

Elliott was average? Holy crap, I'd love to see him play bad, if that was average.

That was one of the worst playoff performances I've ever seen.
