I'm surprised Fincher didn't agree to let someone else showrun Mindhunter. It would have helped the crew and actors and pleased the fans. New directors would have been able to jump in and use the previous seasons as templates to keep it feeling the same. Just a shame.
The Netflix Christian Bale movie was meh. Nonsensical dialogue, stretches in problem solving ability with little information, and a twist at the end which was obvious there would be one. Very meh. Almost seemed like a made for tv film in how it plays out. I do like how it was shot in the dark mostly, but again, story wise, meh.
My biggest problem with the new 'Wednesday' show is as a 31 year old man I feel like I just can't enjoy it as much as I would have as a teenager.
I was also too young to watch the original Addams Family just slightly so there is no nostalgic feeling for me there.
I really do love Jenna Ortega's work and am a sucker for anyone that stars in A24 films and felt she did a solid job in X.
But I don't know if i'm going to continue this show 2 episodes in.. I definitely do understand why it's breaking records and an absolute hit with other age groups however.
My wife and I are way older than 31 and we're loving the show. (nobody spoil it as we've only finished episode 6. We're finishing it off on the weekend)
Maybe we'd love it more if we were teens, but it's a solid show that's great for all ages. We're very happy that it's picked up for a second season.

Netflix has confirmed there will be a Six Nations documentary series on the streaming platform next year with cameras set to go behind the scenes of the 2023 championship.
The streaming giant confirmed that cameras will follow all six sides, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Italy and defending champions France, as they go about trying to win the tournament in a World Cup year.

Watched Treason, a 5 episode limited series with Charlie Cox as the lead.
It had some cool scenery around London but all in all, it was very bland. He was not very convincing as deputy chief of MI6 either. On the plus side, episodes were rather short and only 5 of them, but I wouldn't recommend.
We'd just finished watching some Netflix when I read this. So I flipped over. The premise is interesting, and this is the preview screen episode order: black, yellow, green, violet, blue, orange, red, pink, white

The first four episodes as I’ve watched were Green, Yellow, Blue, Purple.
My recommendation would be not to watch violet first as I did. I didn’t realize at the time but there are some big questions answered in it that would have been more satisfying if I had some other episodes in prior.
It’s a fun series, lots of holes but a cool premise that was enjoyable overall.
The Phantom of the Open was a really subtly funny movie. The ending was kinda made for TV but there was something about it that was really endearing. Old person coming of age movie. 4/5 stars from me. Hidden gem.
