It's funny how sometimes I have the exact opposite opinions of people when it comes to SNL and the cast.
Bowen Yang and Keenan Thompson, for me are terrible. Same cadence and impression for every character they play. Add Heidi Gardner to that list too.
The Michael B Jordan episode? Terrible.
Pedro Pascal? Awesome. Him screwing up and breaking made the episode great - he seems fun and relatable.
Sarah Sherman, Chloe Fineman, Ego Nwodim, and James Austin Johnson are fantastic. Andrew Dismuks is great as the lovable loser type too.

Mikey Day sounds exactly the same no matter the character.
I can't believe James Austin Johnson isn't part of the main cast. he is in every single skit!

I'm not a fashion-forward but that reverse tailcoat (it probably has an actual name that I'm not aware of) that Kelce was wearing was hideous.

Waffle house was great. Having a good laugh sharing it with my friends in "Waffle House states" , of course one of them did point out the dog was too fluffy and fancy for a WaHo

Waffle House was awesome. Weekend Update was really off this week though.

That entire show felt off to me, and Weekend Update seemed like something thrown together last minute. Most of the jokers weren't funny

At least the host could read the cue cards this week.

I still don't get how Colin Jost is employed. He has so little talent he is never in any of the regular skits. Che's best years was at the Daily Show.

Quinta Brunson episode on Saturday was great. Strong top-to-bottom.
The road rage sketch will be an all-time classic, and I enjoyed the Coke sketch. Funny prank in Weekend Update too if you didn't see.

“And I really don’t like that you were using both hands!”
Great episode in all respects, including the musical guest.

Usually, head writer and Update anchor is not in many sketches.

yup. just like Tina Fey when she was with SNL.
Looks like SNL will be showing reruns during the writers strike.
I was looking forward to Pete Davidson this weekend too.
