RIP to Trugoy. I actually met him and Pos in Calgary when they played an outdoor festival at Millennium Park years ago. Very nice guys and obviously incredibly important in their contribution to hiphop.

I briefly debated Ludacris that same night, but the venue made me think better.
Going to these kinds of shows at my age seems a bit weird, but one of my friends (with zero interest) said "the while show is going to be 40 year olds. No kids who are 20 even know who they are!".
The Metro Boomin redbull full orchestra concert dropped 2 weeks ago and it is one of the sickest things i've seen in years. had i known a month + in advance I would've made an effort to go see this live.
It is a 90 minute concert with full orchestra involved in a theatre featuring all of Metro Boomin's biggest hits over the last decade.
I've been re-listening to Earl Sweatshirt's Some Rap Songs recently. Originally I didn't care for it too much but something about it made it click more this time around. Also realizing the darker nature of the lyrics on the album. Earl definitely was going through some stuff while he was writing it

Little Brother put out a documentary about the group, their breakup, and where they are now.
Lots of interesting footage and stories from their come up. It's worth a watch if you are a fan of theirs. One thing that was disappointing was 9th Wonder not involved in the of the making of the documentary so you mainly get Phonte and Big Pooh's version of what happened.
