Not even mad just totally confused. The Oilers are horrendous.
Markstrom wasn’t great but really not sure why it was considered that bad of a game. They played great but made mistakes but soft goals maybe add poor reffing. It’s just blown out of proportion because we lost to the oilers

Only complaint would be that we didn't get one on Husso. Hopefully that doesn't give the Blues some momentum going into the next game in a few days.

Also, Kyllington-Zadorov pairing on the PP is worth a look.

Score effects. The Flames coasted in the third. They will murder Husso if they play the same way. Though he has way better stats, TBF.

It's like that!
What a game from start to finish. Markstrom solid as he needed to be, Monahan continues to come back. Lovit!

St. Louis Blues?

More like St. Louis Black and Blues after that beating.

Truly an excellent performance. The top line was spectacular.

Good confidence building game for Monahan, Backlund, and even Markstrom who made some really solid saves in the third period.

Need to get on a roll now and to win those games in hand so they are battling for top of the Pacific and not scrambling for a playoff spot.

Gotta give credit to Zadorov, who was really good tonight too.

I must say I didn't come into this expecting one of the most dominant games between two good teams in maybe the last few years. It's nice to be reminded of what Sutter hockey on steroids looks like!

Johnny 7 back of McLoser with a game in hand.

Oh, and we're back in a playoff spot with 5-7 games in hand on everyone else of note in the divisional race.

Fun fact: Wednesday's game will be the last time the Flames play in the Eastern time zone this season, until the Stanley Cup Final.

Will not be really satisfied until they do that to the losers from Shelbyville.

But tonight was fun. Great game from the boys, and a quick bounce back, both from giving up the first goal, and dropping the last game.

Now, go into Colorado and kick some Avs ass please.

great game!

with Mony starting to find his groove he is attracting more attention on the PP and freeing up space for the guys on the perimeter to zip it around.

A boatload of fun to watch, and let’s remember this game over the next couple of months. The schedule is bonkers, with a bunch of back to backs and 3 in 4s, just like tonight was for STL, so absorbing a similar beat down isn’t out of the realm.

Not saying it will happen, but if it does, let’s not panic and throw the whole thing in the ditch. This is a playoff team, they aren’t elite, but let’s sneak in, hope Marky gets hot, and see what happens.
