Canada (Gallant and Peterman) are real underdogs in the mixed doubles curling event, finished 6th in last year's world championship.
You've got Italy (Constantini/Moser) hosts, defending Olympic champs, reigning World Champions (went undefeated in both)
GB has Mouat, always in the mix
Swiss has the Schwallers
Sweden has the Vranas (2024 World champions)
USA (2023 World Champions)
Norway is very experienced, been around forever, 2018 silver medalists
And this is without Australia who are ranked 3rd in the world but had two crappy world championships and failed in the last chance qualifer to Czechia and South Korea.
Canada starts off probably easy today against Czechia but are in tough tomorrow against Norway and Italy.
