Surprised Monahan's not staying home with his illness.

Strange that Peters said the other day he'd be ready for the playoffs, but just days later he is about set to return.

Those are not mutually exclusive.
Practising today means, barring something in the interim, he will be ready for the playoffs. I do not believe he said he will not be ready until the playoffs.

Maybe he just means that he’ll be in game shape come playoffs. Looking forward to his return

Neal probably draws in on Thursday. Give him a few more practices to come to speed. I guess it also depends on Bennett's and Monahan's readiness

part of being ready for the playoffs would include regular shifts in regular season games leading up to the playoffs.

On now.

Treliving sharing a story about how Dube raves about James Neal and how much he helped Dube all season, even after getting sent down to Stockton.

For a second there I thought Neal was giving Dube hair tips to keep it looking nice, and rich.

Oh, what happened to Bennett, missed that?

Glad Neal is back soon. I know he’s been a whipping boy but I think the Flames missed him. Thy just seemed a tad more confident with him out there.

Other teams know he’s still a threat. I’m betting he pulls a Kopitar. He only scored 12 goals 3 years ago and bounced back with a 92 point season last year. Sometimes guys have down years. Neal obviously isn’t on Kopitar’s level, but I still think he’ll be better next year.

Well he can't really get worse, so there's that.

So did anyone disclose what illness did Monahan have? What is so serious that he had to leave halfway through a game?
